W210 Radio code assistance

Hi guys,

My first post here - just taken delivery of my first Merc, a 2001 W210 and it's got the classic pixels problem on the instrument cluster. I'm pretty comfortable with DIY and I've seen the guides on removal. The only problem is I don't have the radio code so I'm reluctant to disconnect the battery.

Does anyone have access to the database of codes if I provide my VIN?

I think some main dealers will give you this info for free-others charge. I don't recall seeing a VIN to radio code generator anywhere on here.

Either as Jay Gee or most radios from 2000 are once coded from new, and you may not need one, but if you do then as Jay Gee
