Hi,
It was working fine until I tried to lower it this morn. Nothing happened.
Is there a fuse for it somewhere in the car?
I checked the fuse box under the bonnet and didnt find anything resembling heckrollo (the German name for it), checked also the fuses near the steering wheel but they are all about lights. Under the rear seat next to the battery, there is a bunch more but no idea what they are except for the one for BAS.
Where to look for?

Just checked another time - found the fuse. Its all in plain English. The engine room fuse box has two pages of specifications. #12!!

But the damn fuse is not out!!!
What could have happened when the sunshade wasnt used for several weeks and now its dead??

Was an E300TD, now a Lexus LS400
First thing I'd do is get to the back of the switch and test for voltage at the switch terminals.

Just an update to this problem. It was fixed by a hammer
The sun shade tends to get stuck in the upper end position. It looks like the moving sticks that raise it get into a straight position and then glue in.
Not every time though.
All it took was one person pressing the button and the other person knocking on the mechanism through the trunk.
After 5 or so hits it started working. And actually has worked ever since. My suspicion is that it didnt like too warm weather, coz all that failure happened back in the end of summer/early autumn. Now it's perfect...
