Can any member suggest a SAFE method of removing the front and rear suspension springs on my E300TD. I have a set of conventional compressors but there is insufficient space to use them, any suggestions would be welcome!

You can buy the MB compressors from the dealer, but IIRC they're not cheap. On a positive note, you could always use them and sell them on Ebay.

Or you could give them to me, so I can remove mine :)

There is a guy on the other forum www.mbclub.co.uk who hires out the correct Klann compressor which fits inside the spring.BTW on the rears you can do it by removing the suspension arm pivot bolt and lowering it slowly with a jack.
