What is required to move my 97 w210 front end to a w210 (2000+) facelift model ? I know the wings and bonnet are different, is it a reasonable option to undertake ? Do I just have to drill the holes for the indicators and the front wing mount and change the headlamp surrounds ? I mention this as the only good secondhand panels i can source to replace my bonnet and wings are from the 2000 series (same colour).
Many thanks

Isn't the front bumper completely different too? Looks like it sweeps upwards towards the lights in one solid piece rather than having those separate fill-in pieces.

Facelift 210 mirrors will fit a prefacelift 210 car, but the indicator part has to be wired into the car and the plug and pins on the facelift mirror will have to be changed to pre facelift items.

New bonnet, bumper, wings, mirrors, wiring and then it will probably still look a pickle as the sill trim probably won't flow from the front wing to the rest of the shell. Then the back end still looks different. Not even sure the centre line trim would flow at the same height so the bumper line may not tie up and it could end up looking like a cut and shut.
I'd keep a look out for the right model parts - much safer.
