W211 6 Disc Changer

Hi,
I've purchased a W211 2007 Avantgarde cdi with the audio 20. I've just purchased a 6 disc in dash mercedes changer off eBay. It's come with a lead attached to the back however i was wondering, are there any brackets etc that i need? at the moment, all i have is a cubby hole in its place.

as far as i remember its not just plug and play, if memory correct you need a star machine to recode the MOST ring otherwise it wont see the changer on the ring, might be wrong but wasnt bad with the telematics side, hopefully some of the others on here might be more up to date!!
