Hi there

I bought off ebay a climate control module display for the avantgarde model, so that I could replace the classic module that I had in place. Everything worked but the display did not light up! Is there a difference in the wiring? Or does the car's diagnostics need to be told of the different module?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Regards

As I understand it, there are 3 control units. The Standard one used until the facelift. This doesn't have a digi display. Then there is the 4 zone unit which was an upgrade and finally the new post facelift digital unit. If its a 4 zone unit, I'm surprised it works at all as half of the system is missing. If you have the 'new' one, it will depend on whether the car has the software for it. I'd imagine at the very least, it would need recoding.
