W211 E320 Cdi - Driver's door heated mirror permanently on

The driver's door heated mirror is permanently on when driving.

Have pulled fuse 22 which stops it but also means that none of the controls in the drivers door work - so not really an option.

Can't find any reference to this problem. Does anyone have any ideas please?

The drivers door control module is what powers the mirror, that’s told via a CAN network, can only think the module has gone down on the mirror side!

2nd hand unit and door card off, easy fix and cheap!

Just found this, they are meant to be on all the time, it's related to ambient.
