Hi Colleagues,

Happy New Year!

I have a 2003 E320 that worked with no issues until my friend connected the battery the other way around. Since then, the radio and the heating module inside the car have been dead. I have replaced the rear SAM module, but it didn't fix the issue. I have removed the radio and checked the power supply behind it, and it appears that electricity doesn't flow through from the battery to the radio. I wonder which module stops the power supply from reaching the radio (maybe Batter Control Module)?

Many thanks,

That means a fuse between the battery and the radio has blown.

Hi Mattkh,

Thanks for your reply. Would you please also let me know where I can find this fuse? I have had a look in all the fuse boxes (at least I think in all of them), but maybe there is one that I am not aware of that is responsible for the radio?

Looking forward to your feedback.

Hi Mersum,

Thanks for sharing the file, however, I haven't found any info about the AudioGateway. Which page number they explain about this?

Have a great weekend.

I don't have access to wiring diagrams.
How and where did you check to see that there was no 12V to the radio..? Perhaps it needs the ignition to be ON.
