So, I get a call from my father, contact was made with something stronger than his bumper.

Will a new bumper skin be enough? Or am I looking at more damage under the skin?

There's an aluminium crash beam and foam cell that absorbs a lot, my S211 survived pushing an Audi along sideways with similar broken plastic ware. Does the headlamp wash still work?

Remains to be seen, I won’t get to see it for a fortnight and then I suspect it’s going to be Ty-wraps for a few months until I find all the parts. Insurance will write off the old bus if they get involved, so not really an option.

I was quite surprised when I pulled the rubbing strip off mine to make a temporary repair on the parking sensors that the individual clips for each sensor were intact and would clip in a new rubbing strip.
