Having recently installed a retrofit 2006 Command system upgrade from the original APS 50 in my late "03" E320 Cdi, I thought I would install the MB I-Pod interface kit. I have had this done today thinking it would be straight forward but it does not work.
The I-Pod is charging OK through the connector but all the display on the Ipod just shows OK to Disconnect. When I press the AUX key nothing happens except the aux lettering in the instrument cluster.
Do I need the Audio Gateway coded??
Any assistance appreciated. (Note I do not have the phone option)
