W211 No hot air?

Hi all,

I have a W211 e270 cdi, and I recently noticed, that sometimes there is no hot air coming out of air vents inside, even if I turn the thermostat to high, I only get cold air, not even warm.

Took car to local garage, and he thinks that its the heat valve thats sticking, and needs fixed/replaced.

Anyone had something similar happen to their car?

60 in the link is the valve, yes the valve does or can give problems mainly on the older cars, it is easy to check it to see if it is that or the control panel

Very augwud to change if it is the exchange vavle, there is very little acses with the brake operating unit in the way.
