Had a phone today informaing about recall to e class w211 , something about brake wire.

Jus had mine done. It's just a couple of earth wires on the SBC unit if it's the same thing.

Took literally less than 20 minutes to do.

No SBC on the facelift W211 they call it Adaptive Brake System now (ABS d'oh) you would have thought they could have thought of a new acronym. Or perhaps they have run out...

My biggest fear is that they run out of acronyms, they will run out of TLA's sooner or later. Perhaps they can recycle some of the older ones or switch to FLA's
Yes it is a face lift, was just over 3 months old. I can spot them now as the chrome strip on the boot is longer (as well as LED lights) and the front fog lights have twin chrome strips.

One firm has the same TLA for 3 different products - gets damn confusing!
