W211 Service indicator

Hi there guys. Quick question if someone has experienced this before; My C270 CDi shows that the D Service is due in 8,030 KMs, but it's been saying that for about 3,000 km's now. Can I reset this or get the correct information?

Thank you for the guide that you sent me. I followed the instructions carefully, but it keeps saying service not confirmed??

Any idea on what I could be doing wrong?

The parameters are incorrect (Time since last reset is implausible) or something similair, needs to go on Star/XENTRY to check.

Have you held in the mileage zero/reset stack for 3 seconds whilst the key is in position 2?

Thank you - It's nearing 160,000 km's so I will just rather have the garage reset it. Thank you for your help

I haven't no - I will try that. Does the menu have to bee in any specific mode on the display?
