Hi guys,

I have just registered with Mercedesclub, i will attach a picture of the car later. I have got at present a W211 which i have had for four years. The car has been running fine but recently started to make a squeak noise whenever i go over any speed bumps or pot holes (which is every road in England)

Anyway i was wondering if anyone has encountered this as well? I have got the car checked and the drivers right front shock absorber has started leaking but it squeaks from the back?

Also the car seems to make a high pitch sound when driving, it sounds like when the brake pads get to low but again i have had them checked and they are all fine, not even a stone behind the pad. Can anyone Help!!...

Hi Malcolm,

Thanks for replying, when the garage checked the pads they said that the bushes don't need replacing, i will give them a pray to see if it helps. I will also check the drop links, thanks again.

Hello and welcome to the forum :D:D:D

Name of Authorized User Hardware Description Operating System MAC ID/Machine Name Location

would be the first thing to check,,you could spray them with PTFE or silicon.

It could be the drop links or the bushes between 60 and 70

It could be any of the rubber bushes on the arms

Hi Malc,

I appear to have the same problem, as a complete non-techie, how do I find the anti-roll bars / rubber? It's a 2006 C Class.

Cheers!!!!
