Hi
the passenger side wiper on my 211 has stopped moving,it was fine the last time is used them, its as if part of the linkage has become disconected.
Before i do anything about it, has anyone else had this issue ? and whats the best way to get to the wiper mechanism ?
The centre shaft on the duff side does not move, and when the wiper arm if moved by hand is free !
it appears that the duff side blade had stuck to the screen and this may have been too much for the linkage
suggestions please

many thanks

can the linkage not be seen with the bonnet open? the usual problem ive had with cars with that problem is the nut on the drive spindle has come loose! however i did once see one where the splines had been stripped on the wiper arm! i think that was due to poor quality wiper arms though

What i first thought was a linkage issue is in fact lose spindle nut, the 'wheel box' i was looking at was the idler so that wasnt moving .A month or so back i had a new windscreen so bet they didnt tighten it up correctly
thanks to thoes who posted a reply
