W212 (2012) E220 Fuel Filter Part Number

Hi All,

Due to take my W212 E220 (2012) model in for a service this coming Saturday. Also i am bringing it to a new independent garage to service it and decided to buy service kit myself.

However my local motor factors said they can't give me the fuel filter unless I know the specific one as they have 4 available for my model and are slightly different. They advised me on the day of the service to either get a photo of the removed one or see if a part number could be located on it.
Also into the bargain they said it might take a few hours or even a day or two if they don't have it in stock which is a pain.

Can anyone advise if there is any way I could check wither physically or online for the Part number or model of fuel filter required prior to bringing it in?

P/N 651 090 16 52
Or
P/N 651 090 28 52

From searching both parts they seem to be almost one of the same and both are referenced on non oem equivalents. Only difference is slight dimension difference in height and diameter.

Might give my motor factors a call tomorrow and see what they say.

Try partsinmotion on ebay. They stock bosch filters . Has the filter thats fitted got a fuel heater on the top. You'll see a wiring loom going to it if it has.
