Hi guys. I have a loud heavy clunk felt through the steering wheel when i brake im reverse Sometimes..it will only happen after ive been braking downhill of if driving/braking for a while.it started after i changed to new Kilen coil springs and new topmounts. New spring shims also fitted. I have double checked everything and its definitely tight. All the front suspension arms and links are new as they were done 1year ago.

It's driving me crazy as i can't figure it out. Anyone had same issue?

It started after new springs fitted.torqued to spec. Almost feels like the shocker or spring is moving forward slowly then when you tap the brake in reverse, it will lodge back to orignal position.it makes like a rubbery shifting feeling when it happens.

Bit of a guess but check brake calliper mounting bolts , one may be missing !!
For instance if a top bolt is missing then when applying brakes in reverse the calliper will swing back and hit the inside of road wheel

it started after replacing my coil spring and topmounts- it feels like something shifts forward slowly then when i brake in reverse its clunks..like something has shifted back into place
