Hi all recently purchased at w212 e350cdi estate and the front passenger door lock has been playing up with it not locking at all or responding to the key, then the other day it finally locked and now will not open, the door is locked and when I tried to open the door from the inside The handle pulled out with some resistance and pushed the small tab up to indicate the door is open but the door remains locked and now the handle is floppy and won’t go back in. I also cannot push the tab back down.
I’ve tried different variations of trying to pull or push the handles or tabs while unlocking and locking the doors but no success even tried a method of hitting the door with the palm of my hand while unlocking The door trying to shock it into moving anyone have thoughts on how to get it open? At least then I can take passengers
