My heater stopped working 2 days ago on a cold morning when I was de icing the car!

The fan/blower is not working but I can feel heat coming from the vents.

when this happened I noticed a burning smell inside the car for a few minutes which disappeared

Any idea what is the likely issue? Blower motor, fuse, Regulator or something else

Thanks

Good chance the blower motor has burnt out, could be due to water ingress from blocked scuttle drains :(

Blower motor is common on W212s, but also check the (expensive!) regulator that goes in the same way. Often caused by the air intake above the battery not being attached properly

Spoke with my local specialist he said probably the resistor! Simple job to replace and to go for Mahle.
Before I replace I decided to check the heater fuses but I am unable to locate fuse 116. The diagram says left side of cockpit but I can't find it! Any ideas?
