Hi

My W212 doesn’t want to heat the driver’s seat. I press the button and all 3 LEDs light up, but a few seconds later they all go out again.

Doesn’t happen on the passenger seat.

Tried using MB2 to read but there isn’t a module for heated seats.

Any ideas?

Hmmm. Haven’t got a SAM-R module

Sorry, rear sam is there... it is SAM-R in vediamo where you can setup heater power and times etc...

in Xentry seat module is "ESE 'Driver' " under 'seats and doors', but SAM-REAR (=SAM-TAKA sorry about language) is found under 'structures' (or whatever it is in english) and there are for example seat heater fault codes listed. I can't find control of heaters in simulation mode, perhaps I have not been able to setup simulation just right.

Won’t connect to ESE Driver as I don’t have electric adjustable seats, just heated.

The only modules I have are those I showed above

Well car HAS rear sam for sure :D perhaps thats why you are not getting any fault code. There are 3 possible fault in overall codelist, every code says 'check wires' in guided part of the code.

Heater button are in upper control panel but in that module. But Like I said, if there is fault code it is located in rear sam. And all parameters like heating % and timing interval between 3-2-1 stages are all in Rear Sam.

And again we see superiority of SDS compared to cheapo readers.

Hi Mersumies!

I am from Finland too and have a Seat heater issue. Can we talk in Finnish via private messages?
