W212 remote boot unlock not working

Afternoon all. I have a problem with the remote boot opening on my 2013 W212. The boots opens fine from the drivers door switch or when I pull the trigger under the number plate but won't open from the key fob. The battery in the key is fine as the locking and unlocking functions for the doors work fine. Any ideas what the problem may be? Thanks

Both keys? I ask as when I got my ML one key would remote open & close the windows but the other key wouldn't.
