Hello everyone.
I have just noticed that my interior front lights x2 are not working on unlocking the car or pressing the internal button. I have had the light cluster down from the head lining, to check all the plugs and bulbs. The bulbs are OK and no obvious damage to unit. All the buttons work, apart from the interior front light. I have checked all the fuse's, under the hood and in the back of the car. There seems to be no power going to the pcb that the bulbs plug into. All the other internal rear roof and door lights are working OK. I have also checked the main dash options via steering wheel. And i have also done a Scan on the OBD2, with no faults. I think the only thing left for me to do now, is a battery disconnect for 30 mins. Can anyone help me, please.
Thank you.

My 12 plate S212 E350cdi front interior light unit was the same and I couldn’t find a resolution to this during the 7 years I owned the car it worked intermittently and I learned to live with it there was no actuating door pin so It must work off a sensor somewhere
