Have a 2018 Mercedes E Class W213, car has the widescreen Audio 20 nav SD card system, The sat nav has developed an issue of hopping off the road and thinking I'm driving through a field. It can't always fathom the direction the car is going in either. Is there a common thing for this? It shows where the car is roughly correct all the time it just goes off the road. The roads it's coming off aren't new either.

Thanks in advance.

You need to strip the mirror to fit as the wire goes inside.

Is the mirror removal a full door card off job or can that be left in situ?

I’m pretty sure it’s a door card off job.

Is this a frequent problem? Mine does it occasionally when the car has trouble identifying satellites. It’s usually when I come out of a multi story or underground car park and then there are large buildings around to interrupt the signals. It usually corrects itself within a couple of minutes.

Yours sounds perfectly normal.

Mine does it all the time. Driving through my local town centre, it constantly doesn't know which direction I'm travelling in, Boxing Day we were at my in laws and it said it was two roads away on the Mercedes app.

Well, new antenna fitted and we still seem to be having the same issue. Was replaced with a new genuine Mercedes part and the issue seems to persist. I’m going to upload a video to YouTube and show what’s happening. Aside from that, I’m out of ideas.
