Hi!

I’ve finally found a set of 19 inch wheels which I like for my CL500, but I’m unsure on fitment! The fronts are 8.5j et35 and rears are 10j et38.

Will they fit?

They may fit but it's too close to call. The notes Craig linked to have 19x8.5 ET40 and 19x10 ET45 listed as a Carlsson fitment for the 215 CL but in the notes it states bodywork modification is required.

They will sit 15mm further out than the standard Difda wheels on the front and 31mm more on the rear

That's interesting, seems like they will be to far out!

Easy to measure with a straight edge or Level and a tape measure

Assuming the measurement is from the alloy and not the tyre?

Yup, measure down from the inner lip of the arch and then from the outer edge of the wheel to the line down.

A plumb line is good to use

These project out about 20mm at the rear…
