I have bought a 2003 S320 with a rear seat fridge but it doesnt work! It doesnt switch on and the seals on the fridge are falling out on the front opening.

I am sure the seals can be replaced or repaired but I am unsure as to how to test if the fridge is faulty or a fuse needs to be replaced. Its a factory fit option as I checked the VIN and it appears to be powered from a connection in the boot. Any tips on where to start looking at this issue?

Thanks, would there be a fuse for the relay in the boot? It runs down from the top right of the boot to the ski hatch to allow the fridge to plug into it. The car is in very good condition and all electrics work bar the fridge so I suspect it has been well looked after and perhaps the fridge does work but its just a simple issue. Of course with the seals loose on the door it may also have burnt out in use....

Good news, I have the fridge working, after cleaning the 12V connector I removed the fridge and cleaned inside, removed the glue the previous owner had tried to use to stick the seal back in, cleaned the plastic and reseated the seal. This has little clips to hold the seal in place so doesnt need glue, but I guess the PO didnt see that.

Thanks for all the advice.
