Can anyone tell me how to clear out the drainage holes of my 1999 W220 S430. I have opened the sunroof and had a good look around but I can't for the life of me find the drainage holes and ideally I'd like to clean them out the next time I wash the car. Many thanks in advance

Many thanks for the speedy reply. I haven't used the sunroof on the car in a long time and when I tried to close it, the sunroof slid back again just before it got into the closed position. Is this because of a blockage somewhere or a fault in the system?

I have the handbook for the car and see that there is a paragraph about resetting the sunroof but I wasn't sure whether to do this or not. Unfortunately I can't close the roof manually as I don't have the tool and couldn't see how to access the point where the rod should be placed to close the roof manually.

Thanks again, Nigel

It may need a re set Nigel , I think that is to hold the switch in the closed position for 10 sec while in key 2
