W221 rear sway bar (anti roll bar) removal

Hi all,

I have a noise coming from the rear of the car when going over small bumps in the road. I think it may be the rear sway bars links or the bushes on the sway bar itself.....Done a bit of looking around and it appears you have to purchase the hole bar with new bushes attached.....Has anyone tackled this job themselfs? Or does anyone have any epc/wis instruction's they could share?

There is loads of info on the links and to be i have done links on other cars so i know that's not going to be to bad if it works out to be them. Just not much on the sway bar removal. Thinking i will go do the route of getting and fitting links first then see how that pan's out but would like to be prepared for the worst lol.

Hello stranger ....

I'd go along the route of changing the drop links first .... no idea if the anti-roll bar bushes are bonded to the bar.

How are you....Hope well and the family is all o.k. ? The bushes are bonded to the bar it seems which is a right pain from what i can find.

Just noticed your driving an ML now got rid of the R class ? How do you find the ML i do like them

All OK ... Emily gave her all on the COVID front as an ICU nurse
The ML drives great .... a few more mpg that the R320 too
