Hey Giys. Friend of mine has a problem with W221 OM642. For some reason charged air pipe that is going from intercooler into the charge air flap is getting squized when you rev it up. It should be rock solid. Will that be turbo issue? Car has power.

Have you checked the air filters? Or intake blockage?
I had the same problem once in a snow storm, after a bit of investigation I saw my intake was blocked with ice/snow

Yes. Check entire intake system for blockage.

on my father's, if the air boxes are poorly fitted (after changing the air filters) the hose on to the turbo doesn't reach very well (sitting some 10mm short and struggling to stay connected due to all the oil mist and general filth in this area) then under high boost conditions the shear volume of air being pulled through sucks it in to place, when boost drops, the hose slips back almost coming adrift.... (giving the appearance its "getting squeezed when you rev it up")

after I fitted new air cleaners (properly), magically everything lined up nicely and with out tightening the clamp on to the turbo inlet the pipe, it fitted snuggly up against the turbo and didn't really need the clamp

if its physically collapsing elsewhere, either a blockage (as all the others posted) or its old / worn / damaged, maybe from the use of inappropriate cleaning fluids or something

Everything sorted. When they were fitting air pipe that is going from the turbo they have put it other way around and the pipe got squeezed. It is corrected and everything is working fine now ;) thank you all for the help.
