w221 time set

A friend of mine has just imported a Japanese spec S class w221 model. However the clock remains set to Japanese time. We've had this problem before in the cls model cars from Japan. We get around the problem in those by setting the Navigation off using Star and then the time can be set.

However there does not seem to be an option to turn off the Navigation on the w221.

Any help appreciated.

Change the language to english?

Can you not just reset the time to whatever you want? How doea the car know what the time is?

I do not think that the Comand will work in the UK, the radio certainly will not, well that is it will recieve radio 2 and ½ of Radio 3

Most time signals are taken from APS

The time setting is linked to the SatNav. Although the car is now in Pakistan, it still thinks it is in Japan!
