Hi all,

Newbie to the forum having bought a slightly problematic '09 W245 B Class.

Having stripped the whole interior to identify a water leak (Rear vents and front scuttle drains done) I was following all water sources and remove/refit.

I have bought a replacement bonnet panel as the last one flew off after I snapped a few trip clips on refit.

My question is...the new panel has an electrical connection for the heater nozzle where as the last one didn't can this be retrofitted or do I just not have a socket to connect to?

Does any have a schematic of how this is re-assembled, or have done this themselves please ?

If the last bonnet did not have a heated nozzle, that means you live in a warm climate. So I would just leave it as it is.

Thanks for your input, however the replacement panel was sourced in the UK, the same country I’m in, so it was obviously fitted to some models.

if anyone has heated washer jets id simply live to know where it plugs in.

Thanks.

Your car probably doesnt have the loom for it to be fitted into as it would have been an optional extra.

If you dont pay for the optional extra, they are not going to fit the gubbins for it to work.

It’s not just the nozzles that are heated but the entire pipe that feeds them all the way from the bottle, also as noted above, it wasn’t a standard fitment so if it wasn’t there as standard you won’t have the loom for it to plug into
