W638 Vin

Hi - new to this forum and have a problem with a Vito VIN number. I have a 2002 108 CDi Vito Traveliner, 9 Seater, the gearbox has gone and I'm selling it spares or repairs,. The problem is the guy I bought it off never sent in the registration form, I've had it just over a year but have only just realised the new document never came. I can fill in a form and ask for a replacement document, but I need the VIN number.
I have searched high and low for it - it's not on the windscreen, not on any door pillar post, not on the slam plate, not on the bulkhead, and there appears to be no pollen filter cover either. Without it DVLA says they can't issue me the reg doc. If anyone can help would really appreciate it.

Welcome- that is very very strange! should be on the windscreen, they all are normally!
There may still be ways of accessing your vin via a reg number, but I don't have a link sorry

Thanks Srdl & John L, but unfortunately nothing on windscreen and nothing on bulkhead.... I am at a loss......

Aha... but am going to check wheelarch now......

Nothing in wheelarch either.....I would really appreciate it if anyone has as any ideas....
