Hi to all members...
It's the hottest day of the year & why wouldn't my Air Con decide to throw a wobble..!!
W639 3.0 diesel 2014 xl (289000 miles!!!)
I gave a quick icarsoft diag and the code: B100A signal from component A9 ( refrigerant compressor faulty)
It's intermittent working and had a re-gen last summer. It's probably been talked about many times, but any directional info would be most appreciated.
Cheers

2014 639 Viano- 651, 5sp Auto. 2009 S211- 646, 5sp Auto.
If the same as my compressor.
There is a 1 wire feed to the 2 pin plug. That'll be the 12 volt signal.
It then goes around to underside and into compressor.
The -ve is picked up via screw to compressor chassis.
1st I would check for an unreliable connection.

Use the aircon all the time, summer and winter and you won't have any problems.

mioba, if something comes loose or breaks then you have problem.
Re-gas is usually caused through lack of use.

Just as a totally different tangent I assume that your user name is such is because you are the owner of a Hayabusa. I was for a short time a Dealer Principal of a motorcycle dealership and we had a customer with a Hayabusa with a Nitro tank. He was a total head case. I often wonder whether he is still with us
