W639 V6 Vito 122 - no boost, no codes, throttle position sensor?

Hello, last week my Vito threw a bit of a wobbler and the seal on the turbo resonator pipe popped out causing a very audible boost leak. This is a common issue and I sorted it the next day however since then my van has had no boost, an obd scan shows no faults and there’s no engine lights on however there’s definetly no boost.

Could a faulty throttle position sensor cause this? The reason I ask is that both obd scanners show the sensor at 87% even when the van is idling. If this is likely to be the cause where is a good place to source a new one? I believe it’s attached to the pedal and is a simple job to change.

Throttle position sensor is on the throttle body in the air intake. It's not the accelerator pedal sensor. 87% sounds pretty open, which it should be on a diesel.

Great thanks, that’s good. Any ideas what else it might be? I drove for around 25 miles with the boost leak, is this likey to have caused something to out of calibration or even break?

What about disconnecting the battery for short while and reconnecting it?

I tried that a few days ago, no difference.

having thought about it I now suspect it might be a DPF issue, reading a few sites that suggest running with a boost leak can cause the DPF to fill up quickly. I ran the van for maybe 30 miles with the boost issue.

Got it booked in n st week for someone to check it out on a star system.
