WANTED - 190E Fuel Pump Relay - Technical Info

Can anyone advise me of the best place to purchase a 1988 190E Fuel Pump Relay (Part No. 001 545 78 05) This forced exile into the rambling fraternity does not bode well.

This is one relay you don't want to go wrong when driving along or worse pulling out of a junction.....

I'll echo that. Plus if you think about it, if you get one from a breakers, it will probably be of the same era, and therefore likely to give up the ghost as yours has, then you would have to source another second hand one, or plump for the new article, when you could have had the new one all along, got to be the best bet.

Dont use a non genuine relay. I have found them to be unreliable.
