Morning all. Anyone have any ideas how to change the warning light bulbs on an 85 500 SL. I'm betting dashboard out, and would appreciate hints/tips/blessings on how to.

Cheers,

Myros

not quite the dashboard, but the cluster will. Use hooks to pull it out, or if you've got time to kill, push it out from behind

little tinker

Pascal, you know I can't resist a quick furkle about in the doings of my motors. Nasher, I can get the cluster out, but I can't get the wheel off. I'm going to have to weld a thingy on to the nut, which has lovely rounded corners now.
Pascal, how do I get digital photos on to the site, or into a pm to you?

Simplest way is to save your Photos on a photobucket account (its free).

Then under the photo, there is 3 boxes with links. Right click the 3rd one and select copy. Then in your post right click in the text area, and select paste 'paste' .

Photobucket automatically reduces file size but takes longer to upload.
If the photo is too large in size you can edit it back in photobucket (50%) after posting, and it will change on your post the next time the thread is refreshed.

There is also another way to do it on in members cars discussion (sticky)
