noticed the threads about warranties lately and thought I would share a good experience with the one I have.
I have only had the car about a month and when I got it I took out a 3 year platinum warranty with warrantyworks. It was about £1200 for the three years which i thought wasn't bad.
Anywho last week my rear driverside window dropped (motor/regulator went) and all it took was one call to the warranty company. They said they would pay up to £45 per hour labor and all I had to do is find somewhere to do it.
Dealer was out the question as I would have a fortune to put towards it. I found a MB specialist just south of the tyne tunnel (http://www.prestige-german-cars.co.uk) who did the job. Got the car back the same day and it was a top job. All I then had to do is sign the claim form and that it, job done!
anyway very pleased and would recommend them to anyone thinking of taking a warranty out.
