Warrington mechanic

I am moving to warrington, cheshire in the new year- can anyone recommend a good honest mechanic? I have a 2001 E320 elegance and do alot of miles.

Ray himself is the owner of the garage and advertise's himself as 'The Mercedes Doctor'. This is very true as me and my family can vouch for, the service to us and the car has been amazing. Ok, we were long term customers but still Ray not only fixed and serviced the car to top standard but he would drop off and pick up the car from either work or home if we needed. Ray Yates has bent over backwards for me and my family and his rates are very, very fair, especially considering he is the top Mercedes Mechanic in his area. I can honestly say i know that he attends regular training courses as new technology comes to the market and his premises and workshop are absolutely top notch. He also has the best turn-around of work i have ever seen. Our car has NEVER been in his workshop for more than a few days and he once did our heater matrix behind the dash involving 15 hours labour. We got the car back done, after a full interior strip and re build, in just 2 days. It was only booked in 2 days before the job was done so the downtime from noticing the leak to getting it back fixed was 4 days.
By all means, there may be other good ones out there but from 16 years of direct experience of ONLY this garage working on our car, i feel qualified to say he is the best in our opinion and we are all very pleased to recommend him and his garage.

Exhaust mounting - £2.00

Total parts - £192.41

Sub Total - £461.91
+ Oils - £38.50
+ MOT Test
+VAT @ 17.5 % - 80.83

Total bill - £572.74

This was carried out in 2 days. Parts ordered the day it went in, parts delivered following day and work completed that day. car delivered home at the end of the 2nd day, washed and dash polished.

Ray Yates can only be described as the best thing you and your Mercedes ever did together, i just wish i still lived near-by.

I would be very interested in what you think of SR Eng. Please give Ray my best wishes and tell him 'PMJ' is quite simply the best car i've ever owned and that's largely down to him taking such good care of it over it's 16 year life. Best of luck.

I've used Green Vale services in Whitefield, near Bury recently. Seemed like a good outfit, and not too pricey either.
