Washed the car and the central locking stopped working

After washing my R171 today the central locking has stopped working. Infra red locking working OK, so not the end of the world.

Also lost the parking sensors for a while but they seem to have started working again.

Clearly the water is getting in somewhere, so where is the central locking controller located?

Can anyone tell me where the central locking controller is located, so I can check it out?

Pretty sure the RF signal is interpreted by the Overhead control panel.

The central locking pump is in the boot - right hand side when looking into the boot. They get damp and play up if the drains are blocked for the boot and roof. Do a search for drain points for the R171 and clear them out - strimmer cord or curtain wire works well. The pump will need drying out and checking for corrosion. One mod people do is to wrap it in a plastic bag with a bag of silica crystals to help keep it dry for the future.

Ok, so after all that it comes down to me, I took the aerial off when I washed the car as I have a cover for the car, so it would have been in the way. Never occurred to me that the central locking uses the radio aerial!

Nor me.!!! Anyway yr good to go .all this modern stuff ok till it stops then its head scratchin and at times the logic is from mars !!
