Water collection

Hi everyone. Got a 1992 w124 right hand side and i have water collecting on the passenger side (left side). I poured water yesterday on the drain hole by the battery and water came from back seat towards passenger side feet area. Any ideas what’s wrong

Scuttle drains will need clearing out - you might need to get the battery out to see exactly what is blocked

Hang on, water drains from the back seat, to the passenders foot well, no way ? I recon you need to remover the battery take the fixing bolts out of the battery tray and look under it . Rust in this area will without a doubt allow water to drip down in to the passengers foot well

Last week it rained and I’ve seen water slightly leaking like around foot, but now when i poured water through that hole water was literally coming from the back side.

Two different leaks .No way can water run down the scuttle outlet and come in to the rear. The rubber hose outlet is a rubber tube that exit under the front fender at the rear of the wheel arch liner.

Happens if door cards have been removed, and the nylpn sheet - water membrain, never fitted back on . .
