Water drains.

hi malcolm, i see that there does not appear to be an issue on the w210 design, my car has lived out for 13 yrs and i have no water ingress problems. is there anything i should check ? herbiemercman. HNY.

The 210 is very good in this respect,,just the sun roof drains to keep clear

Is the water running to the back, and that can be a hard question, do you have a sun roof

Hi Malcolm, there isnt a sunroof on my merc, unsure if water is running front to back, as front footwell is bone dry, rear door and window seals all in tact, sides of footwells are dry too. I think its coming from the front but not making front footwell wet, boot and rear seats are dry aswell. I suspect it could be a blocked hose or something? any ideas?

All there is on the 203 is the water pipes drains 190, 200, 215 and 210

the main heater box drain is under the car over the gearbox just towards the passenger side 430

whats the best way to clean them??? hot soapy water with a baby bottle cleaner brush?

I prefer you use strimmer cord,,its nylon and will not hurt the rubber tubes,, you can push up from the bottom no you know where they all are
