The passenger footwell and even rear passenger footwell have become very wet.
A few sites have suggested that the reed valve that drains water from the fresh air intake can get clogged and could lead to water in the passenger compartment. The water seems to be coming from above the passenger footwell directly behind the glove compartment. Where exactly is this reed valve and how does one get at it?
The air conditioning also stopped working recently, probably due to overuse trying to clear a constantly fogged up windscreen due to the dampness in the passenger footwell. I read something about a blower motor fuse holder that there was a recall on and i took out this fuse and put it back in and it solved the air con problem but the ECN button on the air con unit remains on and will not turn off even if it's pressed.
Has anyone else experienced this type of problem or would there be other causes of this dampness and ECN light always on?
