Hi all,

I'm having a few electrical problems with my 230te estate, when it rains (or I put the car through a car wash) it would appear as though water is getting into the electrical system...

The main symptoms include, windscreen wipers failing/power windows and sunroof all failing at the same time but looking at the fuses suggests its only the wiper fuse thats blowing?

I'm hoping there's a common point of failure where water is getting in but haven't got around to buying a haynes manual yet and was hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction...

I do not think that it will ever stop raining but it is worth doing them all,, a length of strimmer cord is very good for this job
