Hi
We have a water is leak (quite slowly) from the bulkhead on the passenger side.
First noticed it on a dry day when passenger complained about drips, on right leg!
I drive mostly alone so it may have been going on for some time but condensation has only been around since about Xmas.
Will now do a few tests with newspaper & watch water level.
What could be the problem – has anyone experience of this?
Probably an expensive job – will need a mortgage!
Thanks
James

water leak

Hi

Look at other posts on same subject.. heater box drain blocked open bonnet and go to n/s A pillar (Between door and front wing) look in heater box (through grill) you will probably find its full of water. There is a drain in the bottom which needs clearing

Water leak

This afternoon , took off grills & had a look, the area where the water should have been, (on near side!) was dry. I then poured water on to that side of the windscreen and although the drain plug allowed only a small of water out & it filled up!!
So we unblocked the drain plug. Now will try to dry out the carpets & watch the engine water level to make sure it is not coming from the heater. Thanks for the tip!
Also looked at wiper motor. See other posting on 07 Jan - Noisy wiper motor?

Water leak

Dried out carpets with fan heater.
Did 450 miles yesterday -Kent - Ledbury - Brecon & back
Great news is that water level is the same so delighted that
the heater unit is probably ok!
Placed newspaper under carpets & they are still dry.
