Water leak when I use rear wash wipe

Hey all

I have a A160 Avantgarde and when I returned from holiday I have noticed two things have gone wrong with my car

1. everytime i use my rear wash wipe; water leaks from both the left and right (near inside rear window) from the plastic roofing
2. my locks do not automatically close after I hit 15 mph like they used to?

HELP any ideas???

Erm , the leaking in the inside sounds like either a pipe has come a little loose and leaking ...might be worth taking the trim off around the rear window to have a wee look.


The doors not locking : This can be turned off and on by pusing the key into the ignition and pushing the central locking button on the centre console a certain number of times. Look in the manual and it should tell you the sequence.

fuzzer is correct. if you remove the top trim that runs across the the roof lining at the rear ( peel back sealing rubber and pull trin down toward spare wheel) there is a joint which comes undone in frost push it back together and rebuild.

Auto locking is programmed via central lock button (as fuzzer said ). Just check that the PSE pump is dry your leak might have damaged it. It is just forward of the spare wheel to the left ( covered in foam rubber)
