Hi all

So, I have hopefully managed to sort out the leaking indicator lens on the driver-side. However opening the boot over the last couple of mornings I have been met with a waterfall of water coming out of the boot lock. please see photo of exact location.

This has never happened before and the car has been in the rain for a number of years. Any ideas where to start looking for the gap/leak? Otherwise I’ll just start at the top of the boot.

bizarrely it rained Really heavily last night and coming to open the boot this morning.....dry as a bone - most confusing........

Is there a third brake light in the boot lid? If so I’d be taking that out and checking the seal is intact and working

Yes there is - sits in the middle of the boot lid. Thanks for the reply I will check it out when it finally stops raining!

Seal seems OK - it has rained heavily again and no issue. So confused is a word I would use but will wait till it rains again and then have a good look and if not perhaps over the summer get the hosepipe on it and stuff and find a gap of some description.
