Losing water possibly from water pump on 1998 w208clk 230 kompressor. Have went online to price new pump. Does car have two pumps, as motor factors have prices for water pump and additional water pump. Any advice welcome.

The second one could be a small one 12V elctrically operated to make sure the engine cools down evenly when the engine is switched off.

Ive just had mine changed on my C230kompressor - 1999 . Same egine as yours.

If it is the coolong pump, there is only one pump....mrecdes benz price - 124.70 plus vat for the part.
