If you have a sun roof the drain is a good place to start.

the car is just sitting for now in the back.

Rubber grommets arent the problem as it was about 2 inches deep of water.

Will try and check all the rubbers around the window

Removing the back rest of the rear seat tomorrow to inspect further as that fabric insulator stuff was all damp thats under the seat

I had this before and it is probably coming from a hole in the door skin plastic membrain (behind door trim) and running down the inside of the door and down behind the internal sill carpet....check for water marks on the trim

that might be the problem, yesterday I opened the back passenger door and lots of water came from bottom of the door card.

ok, Sadly its not the door trim... Took the rear seat backrest off and can see a little slight stream of water leading to the boot. I will get a pic, might be easier to show.

Where about does the Sunroof drain go? Does it go down the rear left (passenger side) piller??
