Hi everyone, I'm very very probably going to buy a 2017 GLC AMG Premium 220 tomorrow as it ticks every box, one owner FMBSH etc, The one issue is the (to me) absolutely awful light beech faux wood veneer on the doors and centre console.
Is there any way I can change this? Not buy new and swap out, more a skin or over laminate? I really hope so as the car is everything we want, but....that trim! I realise that there may be readers who love that light wood finish, but it isn't for me.
I hope someone can offer some advice and guidance.

When I bought my SL400 the only aspect I wanted improving was the aluminium interior trim so I wrapped them with carbon fibre vinyl. Here's my thread:

Aluminium trim to carbon fibre look

Welcome!

Can’t say I like it either MB seem to have been experimenting with all types of finishes over the last 10 years it’s a bit of a mixed bag my car has the open pore black ash trim which I really like.

As regards replacing your trim there are three paths to choose; get a quote from MB (very expensive), have the parts vinyl wrapped or source a donor car interior from eBay and remove the parts you want
