What a fantastic dealer!

Thought I would share some positives about a dealer for a change!

As you might have seen a relative has a CLK320 which sometimes seems like it is going to stall, the revs die away and the engine shakes, as I live 10 minutes from Europa Prestige in Sheffield I suggested that I brought it over for them to have a look at.

Left the car with them Thursday pm, they hooked it up to the diagnostics road tested it, asked if they could keep it over night to try it from cold, road tested it again checked everything that they could think of that would cause it. It is a thing that comes and goes and has done it from new, at the moment such are these things it behaved perfectly. They admitted being at a loss as to what it could be and said that they didnt want to just go replacing things for the sake of it.

Went to collect it, all washed and vacuumed, total cost for all this ....... £0.00, couldn't believe it, they found a slight air leak from one of the pipes under the bonnet but said they didnt feel that this was the problem but sorted it anyway and didn't charge a penny.

I insisted but they wouldn't take anything - fantastic! I know where we will take our MB's from now on!

That's great to hear. I think dealers are trying to gain people's confidence and I get the same kind of superb service from Robinsons in Norwich.

I've been using Europa for a couple of years now after having been ripped off and treated really badly by Mercedes Benz of Sheffield (even though i bought two cars from them within 6 months!).

Anyways, Steve Waters is the service manager at Europa and is a top bloke!

They always drop me off at work then pick me up again when the car is ready.

Always valet the car.

Really good service.

Btw, Steve is probably the only mechanic in Sheffield who knows anything about the older Benzes.

They always charge a reasonable price also.

I would recommend them.

Well said,both my father and myself use europa and think they are brilliant,can't do enough to help you good prices and as you've said they valet your car and to a good standard before you collect.This makes a very refreshing change to the rip off merchants that jct 600 or mercedes benz of sheffield are,long story but they tried to rip off my father good style,avoid at all costs.Anyway glad to see another owner happy.

Dont even go there with JCT, they charged my friend ninety odd quid to adjust his headlamp on his SMART when it failed its MOT, it was still out when he had it retested but the test centre took about 2 minutes so sort it - never again!
