What are all these model numbers about?

Can anyone give me a quick guide to model numbers,
I can't find a listing on the site.

What would a 2000 E320 cdi be called?

What would a 2000 E320 cdi be called?

C220GJS has told you, a 2000 E 320 cdi is a 210, there are no more numbers. If you go to the Russian site you can see the whole 210 E Class range, or if you look at a C Class, you will find the 202 and 203 cars all listed.

If it helps, do the following. Go to the Russion site, and look for, say the SLK 200K. You'll see that the model has 6 numbers in front of it. The first 3 are the number you're after, and that's preceeded with a W for a saloon, R for roadster, and S for estate (I believe). So that would make the SLK200K an R170.

If you have the logbook for the vehicle, if my two are anything to go by, those 3 numbers should be the first 3 numbers of the VIN number, after the letters.

Think that's right, but hopefully that helps you find the model number for any of them.
